The establishment has been thoroughly cleaned. A new management system has been implemented. There is now a new manager and/or new staff. The staff have been trained/re-trained/given instruction/are under revised supervisory arrangements.
Our score was lower than anticipated due to missing paperwork that was not available to us through our Health and Safey Management System and due to allergen information being incorrect. Scoring for the kitchen itself was high and there were no issues raised on the cleanliness or processes being carried out by the kitchen team.
The document required was not accessible to us, but now is. We have since ensured that the Food Management system has been reviewed and implemented, all staff trained, management have undertaken Food Safety Level 3 training and the Blagdon Inn has a new and experienced pub manager in place. We are dedicated to maintaining high standards and service for our guests.
